General Description
:
The apparthotel hemizeus is a classy chalet-style property located in the peaceful winkelmatten area, less than single kilometre from the centre of zermatt, with its winding lanes and wooden mazots. The 40 guestrooms are decorated in a simple style with pine furnishing and open to balconies or terraces. Amenities include satellite television, radios, and direct-dial phones. The hotel restaurant hemizeus, offers a range of international and regional dishes including fondues, home-made pasta and raclette along with an extensive wine list. Food is served in either the traditional wooden stübli or winter garden with views of the matterhorn. Guests can also sample the local grape with a wine tasting session in the hermizeus cellar, and enjoy some relaxation time in the hotel's sauna and steam room. The hotel provides a ski shuttle service for a fee, and helpful amenities include luggage transfer from the station and flattering parking for those arriving by car. The ski area combined with neighbouring cervina, covers 400 kilometres of pistes of varying degrees of difficulty and the hotel is located within 300 metres of the bus stop and the matterhorn express ski station. Geneva airport is 240 kilometres away and takes approximately three hours to reach by road.
