The hotel is well located for those wanting to explore the surrounding locality of grindelwald. Here you will find abundant walking, hiking and mountain trails and paths, as well as the walkway leading in to the glacier gorge. In the winter months there is skiing and you can be transported to the slopes by ski bus for free from the hotel. The langlaufloipe ski slope is also situated close by, next to the glacier canyon.
