Located at the heart of the car-free spa resort of zermatt, this hotel lies within 100 m of the town's train station as well as from the valley station for the gornergrat railway. Other mountain railways as well as the nearest stop for the ski bus are to be found within walking distance of this hotel that offers ideal winter sports facilities as well as access to an abundance of exclusive shopping and entertainment venues.This 5-storey chalet-style hotel comprises a complete of 95 rooms of which 14 are suites. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a lounge with a fireplace and a reading area, a hotel bar and 4 in-house restaurants: daily culinary delights are served up in the dining room, in the homely atmosphere of the schwyzerstã¼blis, in the italian gourmet restaurant, da mario, and in the valais cellar restaurant, prato borni. Ski lifts are quickly accessed by a complimentary bus service. Room-95 tastefully decorated rooms integrate elegance with rustic charm, and many afford stunning views of the matterhorn. Rooms are decorated in soft neutral colours featuring natural pine, and attractive fireplaces can be found in the premium suites. Our house is approximately 50 meters away from the hotel and offers 15 spacious single and two bedroom suites with kitchenette. Breakfast for residence-guests is served in the prime dining room of the hotel. Swimming pool, sauna and steam bath are in the hotel and are free of charge.
