Hotel belvedere is a conventional art nouveau-style chalet hotel overlooking the alps, situated 500 metres from the car-free resort centre, from where a funicular train runs six kilometres to the kleine scheidegg ski lift. The 62 guestrooms are located on five floors and all have coloured walls, warm lighting and include cable television, direct-dial phones, safes and bathrooms with hair dryers. Some strengthen to balconies overlooking the jungfrau mountains. Hotel staff organise children's dinners for the younger guests, and a playground is open during summer months.
